Yes, Sandbox Theatre is committed to accessibility. A limited number of scholarships are available each season; applications can be submitted online.


12. What is your refund or cancellation policy?

Supervision & Safety

13. Who teaches the classes?


Our instructors are experienced theatre educators, performers, and directors with backgrounds in drama, music, and child development. All staff members undergo background checks and safety training.


14. What is the camper-to-staff ratio?


We maintain small group sizes to provide personalized attention; typically, we have one staff member per 8–10 campers.


15. How does Sandbox Theatre ensure camper safety?


Safety is our top priority. All staff are certified in first aid and CPR, and we follow strict check-in/out and emergency procedures. The camp space is fully supervised during all activities.


16. What should my child bring to camp?


Campers should bring a refillable water bottle, lunch or snack, comfortable clothing for movement, and any scripts or materials provided. Costume items will be provided or assigned as needed.

Performances & Family Involvement

17. Can families attend performances?


Absolutely! Families and friends are invited to attend our final performance, where campers showcase their work. Details and ticketing information will be provided during the session.


18. Are photos or videos available from camp?


We capture photos and videos (with parent permission) throughout the program. Families may receive access to a gallery or performance recording after camp.



19. How can parents get involved?


Parents can volunteer during performance week, help with costumes or sets, or assist with front-of-house duties. Opportunities vary by session.
